Editorial policy
The standards every Golden Dojo story is held to.
Last updated: October 24, 2026
Editorial independence
Editorial decisions are made by the editorial team. Advertisers, retailers, brands and affiliate partners cannot buy coverage, approve copy, or influence rankings and recommendations.
Accuracy and sourcing
- Claims are based on primary or reputable sources such as manufacturer documentation, published standards and regulator guidance.
- We distinguish clearly between what is verified, what is a manufacturer claim, and what is our reasoning.
- We do not publish fabricated quotes, test results, ratings or reader reviews.
Transparency about money
We may earn commissions from links. Affiliate links are marked, and we explain the arrangement in our affiliate disclosure. If we receive a free product or sponsored placement, the story says so.
Research-based versus tested
Stories that are not based on hands-on testing say so. If we describe testing, we describe what was done. Details are in how we review.
Updates
Stories carry an updated date. We refresh them when material facts change.
Corrections
We correct factual errors promptly and note material changes on the page. Report a problem through the contact form.
Conflicts of interest
Team members must disclose a personal or financial interest in any product or company they write about, and will not cover it if the conflict cannot be managed.
